Why Mikko Is the Final Boss of Awesome

A lighthearted salute to Mikko, the CEO of School of Gaming, and to the player-one energy he brings to the team.

1 min read

Every great game has a character you remember long after the credits roll. At School of Gaming, that character is our CEO, Mikko. This is our (slightly over-the-top) tribute.

Player One, always

Some leaders watch from the sidelines. Mikko picks up a controller. He believes that games deserve to be understood, not feared, and that families do better when they play, talk and learn together.

His stats, as we see them

  • Curiosity: maxed out
  • Team spirit: legendary tier
  • Enthusiasm for games: off the charts
  • Patience with our bad puns: surprisingly high

Achievements unlocked

  • Level designer of a better culture: a team that loves what it does
  • Quest giver: always ready with the next big idea
  • Co-op champion: makes everyone around him play better

What this means for parents

When the person at the top cares about games, families and kids this much, it shows in everything we publish here in the Library. Our guides on online safety, screen time and learning through play are written by people who take your questions seriously.

Press start

Thank you, Mikko, for leading the way. Now, who wants to play?
